COVID-19 Protocols

The health and safety of all guests and workers are top priorities for The SHIFT Conference. To ensure the safety of participants who will participate in The SHIFT Conference activities in person, New Beginnings Christian Fellowship will enforce the following protocols. Protocols are subject to change based upon public health guidance and requirements from Washington State and King County. The SHIFT Conference team asks full cooperation from our guests.

Covid-19 Screening

We strongly encourage all persons that purchase an in-person conference registration or in person comedy show ticket become fully vaccinated prior to attending any activities during The SHIFT Conference weekend.

Attendees will not be required to provide proof of vaccination, however, persons that are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have an active fever, or have been around someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed on the premises.

If you become sick or are exposed to someone that has COVID-19 prior to the event, we will exchange your in person ticket for a virtual pass.

Change of Purchase

Registration and comedy show tickets are non-refundable. However, in-case of illness, or extreme circumstance, in-person conference registrations or comedy show tickets can be exchanged for virtual passes within 48 hours of The SHIFT Conference.

As of May 2021, King County is operating under Phase 3 of Washington State's phased re-opening guidelines. This allows 50% capacity or 400 persons indoors--whichever is fewer.

Should Governor Inslee allow greater capacity for indoor events, The SHIFT Conference will:

  1. Increase the number of in person conference registrations and comedy show tickets available for purchase online.

  2. Create an opportunity for individuals to exchange their virtual conference registration or comedy virtual passes purchased in advance to in person conference registration or comedy tickets on a first come first served basis.
